At the Carrefour de Pathologie held in Paris from 22 to 24 November 2023, Dr Stéphane Chanel, Cerba Path - Ile de France doctor, presented the medico-technical organisation of a digital pathology private practice.

Stéphane took the opportunity to outline the various stages in the digitisation process, and its many advantages.

In particular, the switch from glass slides to digital slides has made it possible to :

• Build a new, more efficient organisation between the doctors in the Cerba Path network, with a very remote network.
• Improve workflow, volume and distribution. 
• It is also an essential prerequisite for Artificial Intelligence.
